The Blackwood river (the largest river in the Southwest) is nearby and hiring a canoe to paddle its waterways is a great summer activity. Also great for a swim, Barrabup Pool is a naturally formed watering hole just outside of Nannup. The peaceful location is a popular swimming and canoeing spot.
The surrounding tall native trees provide plenty of shade and the tranquil waters make it a relaxing setting to unwind. Walk out onto the viewing platform for endless photo opportunities or cast a reel into the water and try your luck at catching dinner.
In the south, the D’Entrecasteaux National Park runs from Augusta thru to Pemberton with great picnic areas, bush walks, 4wd tracks and of course excellent fishing along the Southern ocean. The Munda Biddi mountain bike trail passes close by the property so bring your bicycle and have an explore ther are many trails in the area.
